Our Dogs — The Bullpen Way Station & Sanctuary

We will speak plainly: its bleak out there, folks. More than half of the giant breed rescues nationwide have folded under the weight of an unstable economy and an unrelenting need. Although The Bullpen has stood as a beacon on the hill while others fell away, we can not endure forever without the fortification of your support.

Here we are- eleven years, six studios, and 31 villas later- and it still isn’t enough. At a time when more dogs than ever need sanctuary, we are forced to accept that we may not even be able to fulfill the promise we made the day we opened our doors all those years ago. And that, quite frankly, is just not acceptable.

We no longer have the luxury of asking nicely. We can't let anyone off the hook this time. Every one of us must choose, today, whether we will make an excuse or we will make a way. We are all responsible for what happens next.
